Overview
Everyone in business should have a Web Site.  The internet has revolutionized the way companies operate.  Those companies that do not recognize this and do not participate in the revolution will have a more difficult time competing and succeeding.

Web sites can be as simple as a "billboard" that does nothing more than announce:

• Here's who I am.
• Here's what I do.
• Here's where you can reach me.
• I am the greatest!

These types of sites are simple to create and cost little to maintain.  In some cases, a single sale resulting from your  site will return more than the cost of implementing it.  A Web site gives you credibility and will usually pay its way even when not even a single sale results directly from it.

On the other extreme, Web Sites can be complex and difficult to implement.  One example of this type of site is an internet shopping mall, where a buyer can peruse a company's wares, order items, and pay for them directly on the site.   Another example is a site that provides printing services.  This site is so sophisticated that customers can design their own business cards, stationery, announcements, flyers, etc.  This powerhouse printing company does its sales processing without any sales staff and thus achieves dramatic labor savings.  Traditional printing companies competing against this type of company are in for a tough go!
